We are proud to announce carlitos skills’ first exhibit at minimal gallery.
In his latest work Un Bolerito, Carlitos seeks to explore his identity as an artist through childhood memories and the influence of his family environment.
Revisiting these memories, Carlitos found inspiration and meaning in his work, creating a deep connection with his personal history. Inspired by artists such as Haydee Landin, Arshile Gorky, and Angel Otero, he has developed these still life paintings that not only stand out aesthetically but also invite the viewer to an emotional and nostalgic dialogue.
Using mixed techniques and color contrasts, his works reflect iconic elements of boomer culture. This exhibition aims to transport the audience to their own stories, offering an understanding of the past and inspiration for the future.
