Minimal NYC is excited to announce, “de triana a bruklin”. A briefly pop up fashion show of km 22. a spanish brandbased in Sevilla
The South. Like any land where the sun shines, the shadow is harder. It is in the shadows where I find the most vivid colors to transform the reality I inhabit.
I sit stitching in the middle of a society that overwhelms me. I constantly seek the balance between time and production, the meeting between my roots and my vital moment. Fashion and cra smanship as a language to present the duality between slow and fast-fashion.
With this collection, created over a slow fire, I burst into the city that does not sleep, thus reclaiming my way of seeing fashion. From the sewing machine, to soulless industries. The similarity of the black voices of flamenco and blues. From the Triana Bridge to the Brooklyn Bridge. Traditional elements as the most transgressive fashion. The revolution from folklore is a double revolution.
