Hao Wang is an artist originally from China and now based in New York City.

His work delves into the depths of human emotion, particularly the complexities of depression and the profound sense of isolation that many individuals experience in today’s world. Through his art, he seeks to give voice to the struggles and vulnerabilities that define the human condition.

Wang’s artworks are visual narratives that capture raw emotion and moments of introspection. He aims to evoke reflection in the viewer, inviting them to explore their own feelings of isolation and longing for connection. His work serves as an invitation to confront the shared vulnerabilities that unite us all, fostering dialogue and understanding in an often fragmented world. Through his paintings, he hopes to inspire others to embrace their emotions, seek support, and discover hope amidst the shadows of isolation.

Wang holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the San Francisco Academy of Art University and an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art.
